Hoe maken we samen de zee schoner? Al 25 jaar laat Fishing for Litter zien dat het kan. Om dit te vieren, nodigen wij u van harte uit voor een inspirerend symposium op donderdag 18 juni 2026 bij de nieuwe en ultramoderne vestiging van Bek & Verburg op de Tweede Maasvlakte.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Onder leiding van dagvoorzitter Tannaz Hajeby (onder meer bekend van NPO Radio 2) blikken we terug op 25 jaar Fishing for Litter. Ook kijken we vooruit naar de toekomst. Arend-Jan van der Vlugt (KIMO\/VNKG, de Vereniging van Nederlandse Kustgemeenten), Johan Baaij (Nederlandse Vissersbond), Kenny Baas (Bek & Verburg) en Alex Ouwehand (Natuur en Milieufederatie Zuid-Holland) nemen u mee in hun kijk op Fishing for Litter en de toekomst van het programma.<\/p>\n

Tijdens deze middag krijgt u een uniek kijkje in het verwerkingsproces van opgevist afval. U kunt ook deelnemen aan een monitoring van afval uit zee. En bent u benieuwd hoeveel afval in 25 jaar tijd met Fishing for Litter uit zee is gehaald? Dit onthullen we tijdens het symposium, in aanwezigheid van een belangrijke vertegenwoordiger van het Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat.<\/p>\n

Op de markt ontmoet u organisaties die laten zien wat mogelijk is met gerecycled materiaal uit Fishing for Litter.<\/p>\n

Kortom: een middag vol inspiratie, ontmoeting en concrete actie! Het symposium wordt georganiseerd door Bek & Verburg en KIMO\/VNKG.<\/p>\n
